Openings
Project CoreBot wouldn't be if there weren't the people working on it. These people come in two flavors: The testers and the team members. Below I'll describe all of the roles and whether we are currently for people. So, if you want to help out testing this game or want to work on it, you are in the right place.
The Testers
Currently, the project hasn't started yet, but for once it does, we are looking for alpha testers - the first batch of them actually. At the time of writing we don't have the number of alpha testers we would like to hae at the start of the project yet, so check out the Alpha Testers Wanted page for more information and to let us know you would like to test the game for us.
The Team Members
Project CoreBot wouldn't be project CoreBot if no people were working on it. We are still looking for members for the team who can help us make this next game.
Visual Artist
One or more visual artist is the thing we need the dearest. We need awesome graphics (even if the way they are used might be simple) to appeal to players, so there's where this person comes in. Let us know if you are interested in this position.
Audio Artist
Awesome music and sound effects really do make a game. That's why we also need someone to take this position quite badly, as without this position filled, we are reduced to looking for freely available material, which is just not optimal. Do please tell us you want to take up this position.
Programmer
Now that the two dearest openings have been mentioned, I am getting to the other ones. We're not without a programmer, but there will be quite a lot of programming that needs to be done. I'll be your technical lead and I'll be strongly hammering good code and the use of the proper design patterns. Your help will be quite valuable! You can apply here.
Writer
I am taking the main story line in my own hands. And I'll be tough on you, as I will be reviewing everything and putting quite high demands on it.
That said, there will be a lot of smaller story lines and sidequest-like things and of course, I'll need proofreading. As such, I could most definitely use the help of another writer. Also, there will be quite a few signs and NPCs to find the right texts for. So, don't expect to be creating the main story line, but you'll get your options I promise. You can go here to let me know you would like to write for Project CoreBot.
Game Designer
I'm already working quite hard on the game design for the next CTRPG. It's my thing really and I will keep very close on top of it. However, feedback is invaluable and suggestions are always welcome, so I could use another game designer on the project. To start letting me know what you think of the design, go here.
